Update on round 54 and 55

I want to give you an update on what is going on and how we will proceed with round 54 and round 55.

Round 54 is over and we have started to check the top players and killers. We will not announce any top gang this round and there will be no gang medals given. Instead we will proceed and give players that have been active this round a "I survived Round 54!" medal. As soon as the checks are completed the winners will be announced and contacted.

Right now we are installing and testing servers at a totally new datacenter where we will have a whole a array of new options available that we don't have at our current datacenter. The solution we are setting up now is much more flexible and scalable for our needs. The results so far are very promising and our ambition is to migrate the beta version as soon as possible.

We are also running tests and repairs on the current database server. Our goal is to get round 55 up and running as soon as possible. If it will run on the old servers or on the new setup is still uncertain. At the moment we can't give a date when this process will be finished since it is too early to say. As mentioned before we will move the beta first to the new server setup and you are all welcome to join and test by then. We will keep you informed about the progress.
