Round start time

Start round Jakarta: 2015-10-31 00:00:00 (Indonesia)

I just wonder if there's any possibility to start each new round on more decent time ? I guess it's ridiculous to start every new round on midnight :roll: Cheerss..

We are looking to this. Some countries are in the summer time so that's why we have a different time to start the round than the usual.

For now I can tell you that it will stand like this but we will have a meeting today and I'll bring this to discussion.


I'll let you know what we decided after that.

Thanks for taking this into consideration, the things is not only the matter 1 - 2 hours start time shifting, what I meant is to have more reasonable start time for us, say 18:00 PM or even maybe on daylight.

Below timing may give more better view of my feedback ,

Jakarta: 2015-10-31 00:00:00 --> it always start late midnight (23:00 / 00:00), while the rest can start at better hours :

My idea is at least do rotate the timing by say 3 to 6 hours forward for each new round , so all countries will have the advantage of playing experience.
Just imagine if you start playing tc at day 3 and have to face the rest players which has advantages of playing at the earliest round.

But its up to you guys to decide, starting late will never be a valid excuse if you ask the top players since they have squad of backups.
I would like to see Indonesian player sit on top 5 next rounds if you ask me :oops: thanks and cheers mate..

We had a meeting last night to talk about the time we start the round and there is somethings I can point here.

The first thing is a technical issue, as explained by one of our developers, it is not that easy as to change the start time for +1 or -1 hour. There are many other things to consider as the right time where our server is located, the time of sweden (country of the developers) and some other issues that I'm not the right person to explain. If you want to understand more about this thing I would recommend to have a talk with memox.


Another thing that we take into consideration is the proportion of players from countries / continents in the game. Right now if we could say in few words, the biggest representatives are Europe in a whole and Brazil, these two parts represent something around 90% of TheCrims players. So as they represent the vast majority they have some advantage when the time was chosen.

Talking about the advantages, the best time is for Europe because from the 90% mentioned above, they represent 60%, and Brazil is the other 40%.


Our intention is to have a good ''time'' for all countries or to create less dependence in the game in relation to the timings. We really consider to change somethings in the future so that it can fit better to everyone. Right now we do not have this perfect solution but we are thinking about it.


You are welcome to bring some feedback to help us on this solution.


So just to make things clear, the start time will keep the same by now and it will start on november 4.
