    Default Suggestions for next/later rounds.

    Hello everyone. I would like to post some of my personal ideas , hope some of them will be taken into consideration.


    1.Hospital : are we all satisfied staying half an hour or more in the hospital ? How about a system related for hospital :


    a). You get a nice beat-up , not dead , you just have your skill/respect taken , right? Nobody likes skill/respect taken , but it doesn't cost you anything

    b).You get killed , and stay and wait , unless you got credits.Now , how about some alternatives ? Not every1 can pay to get out of hospital.


    A small system to pay the "fine" based on money , and skill.

    You have 50 Int , and you got killed once , you pay money x5 your respect and INT skill taken 1%

    Skill increases , the money you pay x5 respect is constant , yet the skill taken will increase to 5% and remain that way throughout the game.

    When you reach the 5% you have the option to buy a refresher pill , which will reset to 1% , but it's cost will increase x3 respect per buyout.

    For example : you buy it once when it is 2.000$ and respect 200 , next time you buy it you have 50.000 respect , and it will cost 150.000 $ , you get the drill

    Start price for Refresh Pill : 500$

    The Max use of it : 100 ( Or something like that , there should be a limit to it).


    2.Whores


    A small thing on my mind , what if you made a box to buy number X of hookers like buildings , and the increase of the money would be the same ?


    3.Weapons/Armor/Guards.


    Why no new stuff ? I bet people are dying out there for some upgrades , I could present a few options , if it is approved.


    4.Prison

    New system suggestion , since once again , not all players have the bucks for the credits

    Instead only of money , skill , strength/tolerance should be taken from you , but lower money , something like this :

    You have 500 strength , 400 tolerance , 1000 respect , and a bunch of money.

    You go to jail but wanna bail out so you need to pay the fine

    Pay money x3 respect you have (if you have 1k respect you pay 3k money , skill will raise to a maximum x10 the respect you have)
    Pay x0.1 skill strength and tolerance (goes up to maximum 5%)

    The Refresh Pill does not work for the Strength/Tolerance lost and is not related to prison.


    5.A rule for bad manners and street/hospital/prison chat flames.


    Monitoring all the streets you can see that ill mannered players are all-around the world , I've seen flames at the worst levels possibles , yet rarely some action is taken.

    I would suggest auto-ban/mute for 10/20/30/60/120/240/360/720 (etc) minutes each time flame is used. (if this gets implemented I'll have to change my zip code rofl)


    6.Casino : raise up the stakes a bit , raise the limit for bets


    7.Beta server

    Get a team to run it , to solve and report problems so that it doesn't take days/weeks to solve a glitch


    That's it for now , if anything else pops-up i'll edit this post Feel free to mock/discuss/laugh/express opinions over these ideas.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    1. Hospitals. We are going to change the balancing of both hospital and prison. We want players to play as much as possible. I don't think the formulas should be changed at the moment.
    2. It is on the list but probably wont be done for round 55 but perhaps 56.
    3. Armours and weapons are going to be redesigned round 56 or round 57. The weapons will become more realistic.
    4. Same as point 1
    5. We are banning people from chats but we dont follow all chats all the time. It would be good to have a reporting system where players can report and if X reports are made that person will be blocked for a period of time. This will have to be made with consideration though.
    6. Will probably come next round
    7. I am running the beta and I fix and make updates as soon as I can.

    Good day

    Thank you for quick reply , regarding number 5 , a script i think will be hard to make , instead place a forum section where people post printscreens of the chat with a certain amount on chat ,if not all , so that there are no mistakes.

    And a small question : since beta system is kinda the same as main game , why are there no medals except time spent ?

    Regarding weapons , realistic how ?

    Printscreens are never a solid proof, and we don't consider those as evidence, so we'll probably never use those as it is. The report button that players could use to report others, and after a number of reports concerning the same player an auto-ban is applied (as memox suggested) it is again very tricky and exploitable.

    As an example, what I could do is rally my friends to report the same player who said once "**** you" only because I don't like him/her, and on the other hand completely disregard much harder insults from others just because they are my friends. So imposing a sanction just after players judgement is a big risk. On the same situation, reviewing manually every player report is also a hassle, because players tend to report everything with much ease, and also we'll have cases when several players report twice or thrice the same situation, so we'll get flooded with reports. This wont work either.

    What we could do, is impose stricter sanctions for foul language used in game (through PM's, GB's, squares) and then players will either behave, or be banned for long periods of time.

    You have a good point , best options imo would be a script for mute and then auto-ban after a number of mutes , but it's not my decision I'll wait for memox to reply , who knows maybe there is a middle solution to make it work for the best , both players and admins

    Printscreens are a good point, sure who check the logs it is able to see if is true, so isn't a sold proof but is mode to have a start for a crew member who is warned about the violation and he know what to check, you don't need to be online always, but you can check the reports.
    For example, you can report someone in game with the report button, there you can choose chat, cheat etc, when you click on chat you can see what that player wrote (logs) in the last 24h (real hours), so you won't need printscreens because you can't change the logs.

    The report button after a number of reports the player take ban-chat/ban is totally bullshit, if someone use the street as fightchat or something like that many person will be angry so they will report him and he take fair ban.

    Very good point, crew can see at logs what people wrote, and from printscreen they can even see game time it occured!

    Yes I also think that could be a good start to investigate such matters. Not as proof but a way of showing what and when it happened. This can be done in text as well of course.
