Recruitment thing

I did invite my friend to the game via e-mail with the ID link of mine but when my friend signed up and even leveled up in the game.. there is no showing "Recruitment" thing on my statics. We tried it like 4 times already but still not showing.. So i've been thinking, will recruitment counts when the next session begins or is there a problem with it ?
