Can someone give me some tips, especially about the late game?

I have a lot of difficulty scaling my respect in the late game. The maximum I can always reach is 30-40k respect. And I see that there are people who manage to finish the round with 140k respect. What can I do to get that gigantic jump in respect?

I'm not an active player anymore but i can point out a few things to set you in a better direction. Everything that i write is my personal opinion and the game changes constantly so take that in mind.
The Crims is a strategy game where eventually everything is just math. You need to start figuring out what can yield the most benefit for your profession. For example being a pimp that would mean invest in hookers and most likely(99,9% chance) to use hookers special item but never disregard the other aspects of the game. Almost everything in The Crims works the following way: "invest" X to get X+Y as return. That means that cash generates more cash.

Few examples:
Spend 100 billions on hookers, you will earn inventory points(which are converted to respect) and by the time the round ends they probably returned you more than 100 billions.
Use the Black market auction system. If you win a bid that is not too inflated in price then that means those components will turn into drugs that are worth more than what you spent(specially if you combo this with the arrival of boats).

This logic can be applied for the rest of things like stocks or buildings. Simply upgrading your buildings to the max level, done the correct way from most expensive to cheapest, means you will gain more than what you spent overtime.

Respect is basically cash+stats, with stats being a small percentage.
So basically all you have to do is find a way to snowball your cash and that is done by using what i just told you to keep generating more cash and then using the Invest feature in the back to further multiply it.
Always remember, the top players are not in the rankings during the course of the round, because their cash is invested, generating more cash, and only in the end they show the result of it

Obviously this is just a nuance, you still need to calculate what is worth it or not for you in your specific situation. Your profession matters, the strategy(special items) you adopt matters.

I always recommend an extensive read of both the old guide and the new guide, although some information is outdated the basics are still there.
