That is due to the difference between different versions of browsers and 
how they handle specific tasks. The problem when you can't even log 
in with IE i still being investigated. Not everyone experience this and 
we need more information about the subject before figuring out what 
the problem is. This is one of the difficulties programming for the web, 
you have to rely on 3:rd party software that doesn't always fulfill the 
common guidelines even though the producers are themselves involved in 
producing these guidelines (read Microsoft and IE).
